The first of βmy statuesβ - M. Henri - came from one of the oldest aristo families in France. Crusader. Fought with H4 on Prot side but by the time you get to 1792 they are leaders of the Catholic and Royal army. By 1893 heβs held up as the defender of the faith. When did that transition happen?

Thatβs an interesting thing!
Not trying to confuse. Just - well academic history is sometimes trying to sort out the reality of every day life from the few things we can get from βa brief history ofβ¦β The religious wars are (Iβd guess - not my bag!) βcomplicatedβ and their legacy even more.

Complex thing. Weβve been βtrainedβ to think in soundbites over the past decade. Maybe people will give them more than 5 minutes.

Yep. But did he have a view on immigration into the kingdom. Or whether people could identify as men or women if they wanted to? Did he think that Jews and Muslims should also be covered by the Edict? Did he believe in transsubstantiation? What was his position on a womenβs place?

There may be an upper limit for the racists. More than 4 million in UK. Perhaps more in France but surely not that many moreβ¦well hereβs hoping.

The NHS, housing and education are broken. Foodbanks overwhelmed. Focus people.

Itβs a chicken breast. Cut through with pesto and olive oil. Black pepper. Fresh basil. Roast at 200 for 10 then 160 for 15. Turn half way through. Wait for 5 for it to settle. Very simple. Excellent.

Mind you, the racist party got more votes than the Libs. And 67 fewer seats. So maybe weβll stick with this one then.

Seriously awful system that gives nationalist parties 20 seats for just over a million votes but Greens just 4 from double that number.
