The first of “my statues” - M. Henri - came from one of the oldest aristo families in France. Crusader. Fought with H4 on Prot side but by the time you get to 1792 they are leaders of the Catholic and Royal army. By 1893 he’s held up as the defender of the faith. When did that transition happen?

That’s an interesting thing! Not trying to confuse. Just - well academic history is sometimes trying to sort out the reality of every day life from the few things we can get from “a brief history of…” The religious wars are (I’d guess - not my bag!) “complicated” and their legacy even more.

It’s a chicken breast. Cut through with pesto and olive oil. Black pepper. Fresh basil. Roast at 200 for 10 then 160 for 15. Turn half way through. Wait for 5 for it to settle. Very simple. Excellent.
