I find it strange that one of the pillars of journalism didn't do a deep dive vetting on someone who would be in charge of editing their product?
...and that the problem was ethics related after the dismissal of the previous person was allegedly...

...because she tried to hold the line on an ethical standard? I liked WPs content and have been a subscriber for years. If it starts to slide into tabloid journalism, do they not get that they'll lose readers?
