Physician here: we put out the worst fire first and only then look at secondary considerations. For a third of a century I’ve been honored to care for patients with extremely high risks: including opiate addiction. Sadly, two perished- both prior to 1995. Taking extra risks is stupid and deadly.

And what happens if the time is used to attack Trump and Biden has another “episode”? It’s back to square one. I think both should be done - attack Trump publicly and plead with Biden privately. But the most important point is that what you or I think is academic.
