Imagine the deep moral vacuity you'd have to have to use the phrase "shouldn't have" here. Like it was somehow WRONG or IMMORAL for creative people to get paid for their work. Work that OpenAI has pirated to fuel their immoral, unethical machine. Deeply, deeply repugnant worldview.
"i, the person shilling for a machine that makes horrifically bad art at everyone else's expense, am the arbiter of what art should and should not exist"
it's breathtaking
This is literally someone who saw people drawing pictures and getting paid for it and said, "That's wrong. *I* should be paid for their work instead."
Literally.
When I was briefly working in a creative field I had one “fan” of our work straight-up chastise us for charging money for our work. That all product should be provided gratis, always. I came to call this breed of fans the Yawning Maws.
The OP is blocked for me but I can guess who it's referring to. I'm so over those who talk like art and artists are worthless while *needing* it to in order to make their business work.
A/I shouldn't exist, it was never needed by anyone but grifters.
and I guarantee that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM were more valuable to their employers and contributed more to their jobs than this soulless corporate stooge.
