Yeah, that's what I'm reading though it seems it's all superficial reporting/info (i.e., articles reporting on what the manufacturer promises). We recently saw our opossum population effectively disappear recently and we suspect some idiot neighbor's been tossing rat poison around.

Ugh...rat poison's been killing off a ton of opossums around where I live. It's a stupid solution. They should instead encourage stray cats. Don't know what the local predators are like but under the right conditions...no more rats...

People who measure success based on income are exactly the problem with this world right now. When bean counters decide what art is and whether it has value, everyone loses. It's like assuming everyone will like the same song and genre of music because it's sold a lot of albums. I'm so so tired...

Could be. Seen that before in a couple of our animals. Just glad she was with you in a happy place. Through all the years and all the animals we've had, we've never had one that passed quietly at home or in their sleep, at peace. I'm sure she was incredibly happy to be with you at the end.

Reminds me of those days when you couldn't just watch those on VOD. I remember going to some small theater in the town by my college that was hosting an animation festival. Pixar animations were my favorite...wish I had the balls to just pick up and head up there to do anything I could...

Saw a posting on LinkedIn. Someone was so proud. Talking about Peter Thiel throwing stock into a Roth IRA to avoid taxes and sit on $5B. Ask yourself: what could $4B of that have paid for instead of sitting there? Resurfaced a bunch of roads? Paid for 500k kids' education? Fed millions for a year?

Heard security hired to maintain the peace did nothing at all. I can understand private security being useless but LAPD standing by while crimes are literally being committed in front of their noses is all you need to hear about the commitment of police to protect the people rather than the state.

I'd say they'd go for the lower property prices and taking their chances since it's not like Godzilla or a Kaiju would hit every single city every year or 10. Basically rolling the dice while also being always ready to hightail it to a shelter.

The question is though: is that accurate as Earth has been spinning around the Sun and the Sun's spinning around Sgr A* and Sgr A*'s been dancing with other galaxies in the local group...are we anywhere near where the Earth was when it first formed??

Wow, that's a new one. My wife asked me to check out something on Amazon to sort of vet it and wow. 5000 ratings, 4+ stars, all the ratings are for a different product. They took a popular electronics product and swapped the info for their product, letting the reviews carry them.

I remember reading an article about Trump way before anything presidential and I was amazed at how these investors lined up to give his projects money despite a very obvious history of bankrupt real estate projects...being rich does not mean you're smart. People keep making that mistake...

Agreed. Plus for me, a run (before pilgrim existed) where I was just stuck getting attacked by wolves until I was dead turned me off the game even for a while. Got attacked by wolf 1, survived it and drove him off, wolf 2 turns a corner and attacks, survived it, then wolf 1 sauntered back...lol

I've been thinking I may need to try a custom game, as long as it doesn't disqualify us from earning badges, achievements, etc. For me, I want environment challenges without dealing with the animals attacking. Me vs the environment without the wolf death cycle. :)
