You reminded me. I listen to Salem radio in my car. I don’t drive often or far, so it’s a maybe 20 minute blast of it. Reminded me of the days when the zealots used to lodge letter writing campaigns to the FCC re. content. I wonder if there are violations folks should say something about.

I’m in Pennsylvania. Things like no excuse absentee ballots were expanded in a bipartisan bill in 2019, to take effect 2020. I think we all know what happened from there. Turnout in the whole country is sad.

Yeah. I’m of an older adult woman. It wasn’t even something to consider for most of my life. I think there’s been a lot of treating immediate symptoms as reaction to traumatic events, not looking at the whole picture with a new lens. I’m not interested in any arguments about it. Enough on my plate.

Sometimes there are sound reasons not to perform a procedure or prescribe a drug that get lost when reported by a disappointed patient. Many people make things up in the patient/carer space. Often there a major failures to communicate between Dr. & patient.

Have you seen any data? I take these anecdotes with a grain of salt. This does happen. It’s happened forever. It’s also far less frequent than 25 years ago. I’m sure there are Dr. with agendas, conscious or not, worried about population, replacement, big ole gender swap, etc.

Who does this? No one should be throwing fits or refusing to talk about, testing or preventing unintended pregnancy. The health department or a planned parenthood will do screenings. There may be other providers of services in your area.

I thought “Poor Things” was terrible and offensive. I’m not easily offended. There. I said it. The ending reminded me of human centipede and the premise was just as appalling. The sets were cheap and the steampunk touches were stupid, extraneous and illogical. The costumes cheaply made & uninspired.
