We just watched this squirrel dig up a cherry from our potted tomato plant and go to the deck rail to eat it. The cherries were put out yesterday in a small bowl and were gone this morning. I guess they were stashed!

Hans Zimmer nailed it. But this movie is a tragedy of western expansion. Also, I remember going to a matinee by myself when pregnant and sitting through the credits. The theatre staff must have thought I was nuts.

🧶 knitting woes--I am nowhere near gauge. I thought DK weight was weird for 24 stitches in 4 inches. I thought the smaller needle size would work. But I don't have the budget to buy more yarn. I'm thinking of just going for it and using a smaller needle and maybe a smaller size so it fits? Ugh.

Just had a dream I was trying to check in at a hobbit-themed hotel with padded floors so you could walk on your knees. The check-in desk was positioned so the clerks could stand but still be eye level. They lost my luggage. My room wasn't ready. They offered me free steak while I waited.

I find it amusing that they always ask women this question; when I was younger, it's not like I carried a calendar around before cell phones and always knew. Now I'm like, I dunno--years ago? At least the question now when they see my age is sometimes do I still get them.
