It's a different museum environment in the US, because philanthropy is different in the US. But then you'd have to live in the US, which I thought you weren't doing for reasons.

Do not recommend. (Museum studies folks as well as curators, exhibit designers, heritage/cultural interpreters etc. are lovely folks, this is not a dig at them.) In Canada, museum workers are at the very low end of the pay scale, unless you work for a giant state-run bureaucracy.

I was flagged for additional screening in Kamloops recently, and my goodness, the lady who did the screening was the most pleasant CATSA or TSA personnel I have ever encountered. I hope you have had pleasant personnel also.

It worked out OK! Very pleasant flavour base. Tweaked this recipe for electric. Omitted green bits in the hope the 6-year-old would try it, but that didn't work. Will include in future. The hardest parts were sourcing pork hock (could not find smoked) and fighting to peel the green plantain. 😆

oh poo. yeah Cdn Tire has nothing useful for swim goggles. I have ordered them online from Sport Chek and purchased in person at Diving Sports (Vancouver store). This is why we have backup set of Jr. Vanquisher for the kiddo, because if there are no goggles then face doesn't go in the water.

A colleague who was a competitive swimmer swears by the Vanquisher 2.0 goggles from Speedo. Also the Jr. Vanquisher 2.0 for kids. Can confirm, they work well for our household. ca.speedo.com/vanquisher-2...
