that’s what they 🦌 did with my brown eyed Susans last year that are outside the fence - bit off the buds - some 🌼 opened and they weren’t touched

Oh no! They ate my sunflower buds one year. We have our yard fenced but it's not totally deer proof. The gang of mule deer usually go up the mountain in the summer, we just have a couple of white tail that hang out all year. Spring & fall are most challenging really. 🤷♀️
