I still run into this because we have our favorite set of sheets that we’ll hold out for, but I realized one day: hey, we can have an extra set for nap emergencies lmao

(Also, I hate wasteful excess, but sheets and blankets can always have a second life. Sewists like myself buy sheets from thrift stores for projects, and worn blankets are always needed for shelters!)
