Not gonna lie, today has been a pretty demoralizing day of work (and I honestly haven't even checked the news). Looking forward to the kickoff call tonight for voter protection hotline volunteers, a very concrete way to feel like I'm doing *something.*

(I volunteer in a deep red, very disenfranchised state where I have a couple friends who aren't able to engage in election-related volunteering, so frankly it maximizes the warm fuzzies.)
