I wanna add that immigration situations are very varied depending on how you are coming in, and from where if you are looking at this as a non-American. Friends' SO is coming from Brazil and they're on Day 30 of a supposed 20 day process. Choose the province wisely but all have pros and cons.

BC for the most part has been great but getting the wrong Gov worker in any situation and any country can really fuck you. Great medical in some cases but again, one fuck stick can ruin everything. Some stuff you maybe entitled to but don't know to ask for it because you're not told about it.
