Yeah I realized after I posted that the normal appearance probably was a mirage and there would be a lot of hidden junk if the dashboard situation was a total loss. Ugh. Were you running wordfence? I have a lot of sites that depend on the free version being at least competent at stopping this...

You could install apache onto your local PC (I have done this ergo it is not hard because I am not a smart man), run wordpress locally and then just mirror the html like that example I posted. Imagine the hackers' confusion trying to find purchase on a wordpress site that is only html and images!!

Can't you just externally backup existing pages and reupload as static html? It's been a few years but I did backup one wordpress based webcomic like that using httrack website copier komikksu.com/astray3mirro...
(This exists with the blessing of the author, of course)

This was a fun read. I'd definitely read the first pages, that "Paladin as a postman" line I definitely recall reading. Having a murder investigation where the detective can query the victim or even undo the crime certainly is an interesting twist.

Also that Moldaiver lady was leading a bunch of reavers in ep. 1 but was the leader of a proper organized faction with like missiles and a militia. So there's a definite "written by committee making stuff up as they go along" feel to the plot, though not as bad as blockbuster movies lately.

So I finished watching Fallout, I guess it was ok, given that I've never played the games it still managed to entertain. But, confused me thought the fusion cores the power armor and the vaults used were already cold fusion... so what was the difference with the mcguffin they were all chasing?
