Really bummed about how NPR/ATC is covering the presidential race. It just feels like the network has gone full CNN and we’ve lost sight entirely of the policy stakes in the election to keep reinforcing the same horserace narratives so Tamara Keith can more easily riff about vibes & projections.

There’s no lack of talent or access for the NPR politics team but it feels like they have completely lost the thread on what product they are offering their listeners. There’s a whole lot of big picture context that they themselves have covered wonderfully which they set aside entirely to do…this.
