I was at A12 in Charlottesville and “protection” is not the word I would’ve used for what the police were doing

I was in the rally in Boston that happened the next week- where so many counterprotestors came out that the majority of the Nazis cancelled- and the police cleared subway trains for the Nazis, gave them perimeters, and otherwise coddled them, while zip tie street arresting protestors for loitering
