We are turning another page of our calendar and are officially starting the fire salamander season. These “secret rulers”, how our gardener likes to call them, can be spotted in the wetter areas of the HITS garden. Their majestic posture has something royal about it.

Happy #girlsday 2024! Today, we welcomed a group of girls at HITS. In two workshops they learned how to classify galaxies and how mathematical modeling can help explain the development of cancer. Thanks to all involved for making it such an interactive and fun morning!

This month we're spoiled with the blooming magnolia trees in the HITS garden. We simply cannot get enough of their large fragrant white, pink, and purple flowers. With rising temperatures, we also soon expect the first butterflies – like the one on this month’s calendar page.
