goodbye giffgaff! I'm so sorry! I loved that you barely existed and were so cheap! I even loved the old days when you'd suddenly not work for 8-12 hours! But I cannot pay 20p/mb for data in the US while going on a book tour! I get lost too easily! I don't know how to use a compass!

however if you are okay with not having data outside Europe and you want to pay a bafflingly small amount amount for your standard monthly phone use then I recommend Giffgaff very strongly

Exact same except when I was in Vancouver for filming and they emailed me to say I’d spent £87 on data since the plane had landed. I was still in the taxi from the airport. I got them to stop at a phone shop where I bought a Canadian SIM and that was it for me and Giffgaff.

You should use the external card of esim, which does not limit the model of mobile phone you use. When you go anywhere, you can switch any number in the app, for example, esim.me.
