My wife and I LOVED NXT in their era, pre-AEW. We were at the Takeover Chicago where they physically tore the ring apart during their street fight. Plus Ciampa was on the card against Sami when NXT debuted at Turner Hall and he got the hometown pop for living in Milwaukee. All the love for them!

It's not a binary at all! I tend to think that AEW's long term stories are better than what many think, but also WWE has absolutely nailed it with the Bloodline in the last few years, so them having one of the best long-term stories ever has been slanting debate.
