If I may predict something from the news of this weekend. Labour will very comfortably win the election. The Tories will be punished. There will be low turnout and a high percentage of third party voters. The mandate of Starmer will be tenuous at best. It will bite him in the arse within a year.

Yup - if he ends up with 80% of the seats in the House of Commons on 40% of the vote share, then the remaining 60% of the voting public have 20% of the seats to share between them you're gonna end up with a crisis of democratic legitimacy, especially once the austerity ramps up.
