Living in CA they were banned except for a couple big shows that my parents would never take me to which helped my love grow. Did camp out for 6 hours plus 8 years in a row here (thank god I got over that lol)… the pollution etc is brief and prob pretty minor in longrun. Will be checking epa tho.

We did the family trips to the Natl Mall when I was a kid. Like most longtimers here, I wouldn't set foot near the fireworks for years. But oddly I've started going down there again out of morbid curiosity. It's sad to watch how terrified the ducks are.
