Boy you must think your readers are stupid. Turns out we are watching an ancient newspaper burn to the ground and willingly destroying democracy. GFO

I feel for you! My husband had surgery in January on his foot. It takes a year before they can evaluate to say this is your new normal or we need to do a 3rd surgery. It’s been since October 22. Hang in there!!

Oh blue goes with a lot of things. I hope you don’t have to be in that too long. Sounds like a long journey ahead like my husband.

Oh that’s good!! Everything here is exploding in growth. The dahlias are much bigger and was telling hubby that I don’t think I have enough containers for next March when I pot them up.

I’m envious. I keep trying to recall what that might have felt like. It’s just not there.

Very interesting. I hope they can figure out a way to rewire brains for folks like me who are tormented with traumatic memories 24/7.

I think when they first started advertising we were at a home show where I asked a million questions. It wasn’t what would work for us at the time. They’ve improved a lot so worthy of another million questions.

I remember that at our old house. You had to run to the mailbox at noon in the full sun! I ended up organizing a neighborhood spray that worked well. Expensive but when 30 homes are chipping in, it wasn’t bad.

I would also save and dry the shoots for later use in the garden. Dry them upside down. They would make excellent stakes for anything needed support for climbing.

I don’t know how much you are looking at, but you could use a chip paint brush and paint the stalk after cutting. I’ve been successful in keeping Sassafras sprouts from getting a grip in my garden. It’s daunting but I’m motivated to keep the stuff from consuming ground.

I’m thinking that in the fall might be the best time for this project. As everything is moving towards dormancy the stuff you spray immediately after cutting will help the poison get to the roots.

I believe it sterilizes the ground for a year. Nothing will grow. Be safe using it!!
