Oh the 3D re-release market pretty much collapsed in 2012, so timing worked against this plan. I think people had hoped Titanic and The Phantom Menace would have performed better than they did. And I don’t think the home video 3D market fared any better.

Right. I figured the plan was abandoned after Episode I, but that article indicates the conversions continued until 2015, so why haven’t they been put out since on digital or streaming?
