I think Opera did an update the other day, so maybe they fixed it. I don't really care who, as long as I can now scroll all the way down lists without everything going "broken kaleidoscope" on me.

I remember - thank you! I'm still trying to find a way around the scrolling issues so I can access your musician packs - Bluesky just isn't working right on Opera yet. Hopefully I'll get there eventually. Had a number of people follow me recently, and I'm at least trying to follow back...

I have a Lyra 8 as well - I love that thing! I recently ran it through my Talkbox pedal to make terrible talkie tones. :)

Always cool when a project you've worked on pops up years later in a review :) It was fun working on the Eternal Lies CD, and I think it turned out well. I was in a team of four, and it was rewarding to witness the way the collaboration process worked.

Just had an update from the Apple Store. They're having to order parts, and it could be another week before I get my machine back. Urrgh. Well, they say it's best to mix with "fresh ears". Two weeks is probably fresh enough!

I totally get this. I regard YouTube as simply a place to store my music/videos so that people can watch them. The idea of dancing to their tune so I can possibly maybe one day earn a tiny amount of money is laughable. Bandcamp rocks!

Thank you for performing this valuable service! I'm currently struggling to access it all because @Bluesky STILL haven't fixed the scrolling bug in Opera. I wish they would hurry up, it's so frustrating not having access to loads of posts because you can't get them to sit still...

As my music computer is poorly and off to "hospital" tomorrow I've spent the time on other things. Just recorded a whole load of voiceover for a project - using close mic. I hate doing that! The mouth noises and nasal clicks make me cringe. SO many re-takes...

Morning cuppa! Not had the best week ever, to be honest. My music computer died in the middle of making the album! Taking it for repair on Friday... In the mean time, I'll work on some video scripts I suppose. Or I might go back to my fiction writing.

My next behind-the-scenes video is mostly done: just need to add a screencast and an animation!

Got to say, much as I see music as my main passion, I also get quite a kick out of making videos. I've loved editing ever since I was in the film-making club at uni :)

I discovered a new trick last night. Slow track using snare and clap layered, but with the clap about 25ms ahead of the beat - it makes the snare sound more "splashy". Very pleased with this find and wanted to share it.
