This might seem odd, but it might help to talk to a Catholic Priest, and ask for them to take your dad's confession. That way, you don't have to bear the burden.

Catholic priests are well known for abusing children, I wouldn't interact with them for any reason. I know one of the guys who helps manage their cash, they pay vast sums of money to try to keep their abuse victims quiet
