Yeah. I've been drinking almost Liquid Death exclusively for the past year as I've weened myself from soda, and I've never had anything like this happen. It's been 5-6 hours since the sip this morning, and it's still all I can taste. =|

Like, it knocked me out for a few days level of sick. I opened another can this morning and took one sip, and realized things weren't any better... and then I felt like shit again for a few hours. I dunno what it is, but something has gone off.

The cans seemed fine. The smell was almost on point, but... "wrong," to the point I thought my siickness may be covid. The flavor almost seemed muted and spread out, like... I don't know, a sip of guassian blur? I drank most of the can anyway, then just got crazy sick after.

All I know is the cans sat out in 100+ degree weather for like 8 hours before we knew they were there, and every can has this foul flavor to it that instantly makes your body go "this is dangerous."

Because these are canned teas with other ingredients, and something went "off." The other night I drank a can of it and it tasted wrong, and I had stomach cramps and other pain for like 12 hours. Tried another can this morning. My body instantly went "something is wrong."

Ordered a bunch of Liquid Death teas, and they got dropped off at like 4am and sat out in the heatwave for hours and hours, and I didn't know. They all taste just beyond awful now. Like they FEEL unsafe to drink. I hate that I'm going to have to pour all of them out.

Going on day 9 of being so sick I can barely function. Been coughing up blood today, but only because my insides are all chaffed from whatever the fuck knocked me on my ass. I'm about 80% recovered at this point. I think. I hope.

The problem is it's not. It doesn't protect against what they define as "obscene content." So their goal is to bring back the "moral majority" and start declaring anything they don't like as obscene, and the 1st technically won't protect it. That's their end goal.

I didn't choose to be on this spectrum where I'm somehow both gay as fuck and asexual, but bigots will this a "lifestyle" choice and make arguments about it... and often turning them into person attacks. I grew up partly in Alabama. The shit I saw there turned me off religion for life.

It's also about control on another level. The US is the single most dominant country for value in online advertising. Control what people can post on the US side, force ID verification, and you can effectively cut off any website from making money and make them bleed into bankruptcy, NSFW or not.

I represents a lot of LGBT+ artists, and my goal of this post was to realize we're all under attack. They'll start with our trans brothers and sisters and work their way up. Because while the first line is about our transgender family, we've seen the attack full scope across the LGBT+ spectrum.

I try not to view it as any one person, but the difference between a who gets put on SCOTUS and what judges end up with lifelong appointments. Those are vastly more important than any one person.

Yeah. Imagine they get hold of the dealer's den reg info for any con, looking for LGBT+ artists. Now they've got your reg data (real name, phone, address) and... what then? Like, I totally get this is a worse case scenario, but this is literally in line with what they're proposing.

Okay. In fairness, my post here escaped my sphere of influence. I run an LGBT+ furry art site that mostly caters to artists and creators of all kinds, so my tweet was mostly focused towards my followers. I didn't expect it to go as far as I did, but... you're right. This is pure evil.

They say it in the first line. They won't hesitate to spread that to the rest of the LGBT+ family, as they've gone after drag queens, books about gay penguins, and claiming any LGBT+ book in school libraries as "porn." They won't be happy until we stop existing.

All LGBT+ existence to them, yes. They're just going after trans folk because they're a marginal group, but they've made it clear with the book bans gay, lesbian and any other variations are all the same to them. Take out smaller groups of people, work their way up. It's deplorable.

There is no winning with 2025 unless you're a billionaire. Everybody else gets to suffer under a new world where the government decides what you can or can not do in the privacy of your own home, and that's something even conservatives should be wary of.
