It ain't just the mainstream news, I get little snippets from those I follow and my brain puts two and two together. Someone once said "I'm smart enough to know that shit is going down, but just dumb enough to not know how to change it." And holy fuck that's a mood.

its also optics. ive seen many a post of people literally giving themselves ptsd from not being able to make any meaningful changes to the gaza war apart from just looking at gory footage all the time. not only is it counterproductive, you arent really helping said victims
