Bluesky has been independent from the start, but it took six months of negotiation in 2021 to set it up that way, and from the outside during that period it looked like the project was going to remain vaporware forever. Very glad we are alive today — it very easily could have turned out otherwise.

I stayed in Dormy Inn Akihabara 2 years ago and liked it a lot. They have Onsen hot spring in the hotel building, provide good Japanese breakfast, and free ramen in the evening. Fee varies but around $100 to $150 per night.

What I like about go is that testing framework is part of the standard and ready for use right away.
