But at the same time, I'm also feeling rather smug that a load of 16/17 year olds were able to develop the theory, and plan what would have been a successful experiment to prove it - the only thing stopped us was lack of funding and equipment

Ngl, I'm a little bit salty though. We were asked to plan an experiment to prove our theory, and it was pretty much identical to what this team did - many "If only's" going through my head rn The only reason we couldn't do it was because we were 16/17 years old, in 6th form, and had no funding.

Managed to find a doable route that will only break me a little bit to get to and from the hospital tomorrow. Hour and a half each way though, for a fucking 20 minute appointment. I live in London ffs, why is a hospital in fucking Sevenoaks classed as "local"?!

Especially with Manuka because it's sooooo bloody expensive. CannaHoney is slowly getting more popular (you can get dosed honey sticks off a few online pharmacies now, theyre basically small single use tubes you can either eat straight or add to things) so hopefully things catch up.

Like seriously, my resting hr while awake recently is sitting anywhere between 90 and 120bpm. With my blockers I sit around 65-70 Didn't realise just how much of a difference they make, especially since I was given them for migrain prevention rather than HR/Anxiety

My parents figured it out but refused to get me and my brobtested because they were scared of the stigma. My younger brother got his AuDHD dx a couple of years ago, I'm still on the wait list for mine. My parents still don't understand the years of trauma they put us through because of their fear
