Well that’s new. I’m not sure I’ve seen “suckers” form off the ends of tomato fruiting stems before. It’s happening on several different plants. Have I just never noticed this in all the years before? Am I going crazy? 🌱

I just noticed the squirrels, who tried to destroy my birdhouse house gourds last year, maybe decided to make amends by planting me another vine in the front flower garden. I wasn’t going to grow any this year but I’m letting this go to see what I get from it. 🌱

I have two good-sized common milkweed patches, and I’ve only ever had one monarch visit them the 3 years I’ve been growing it. I added coneflowers and liatris flowers to the area recently cause I think my issue might be a lack of attractants. Even though my milkweed is flowering like crazy. 🤷♂️ 🌱
