I went to a wedding recently as a +1 where I knew literally nobody, and the mothers of both the bride and groom *latched onto me* the whole night, just being sweet and wonderful and encouraging and affirming, and gave me the biggest hugs before we left and told me to never stop being myself and 🥹🥹😭
