“It’s an addiction” is doing a lot of heavily lifting by the unstated assumption that addictions are bad or that addicts are bad people. I’m on a fairly comprehensive list of prescriptions I need to keep taking. They’re all great, just like coffee. 😎

As I don't see addiction as inherently bad I didn't read it that way. I get withdrawal from my duloxetine because as fas my body's chemistry is concerned it's dependent or addicted to that chemical being there every day. Just like coffee.
