When unitary executive/ Project 2025 people say things like "the people issuing regulations need to be accountable to the elected president," remember that they also mean "emergency preparation for hurricanes should follow the president's sharpie map not the actual professional forecasts."

To the extent non-crank judges (post-Chevron) feel they need technical expertise (previously supplied and adjudicated by exec agencies), has anything been sketched out? E.g., are parties expected to hire external experts, and then judges adjudicate between expert opinions, with help from clerks?

And they don’t mean “can be fired for cause” since that’s already allowed. They mean “accountable for carrying out the president’s partisan agenda.”
