We haven’t used an aerial since about 2016. Don’t miss it except very occasionally if I’m bored I miss being able to idly scroll through channels.

Now A has pleaded not guilty, the police have to be able to evidence she was driving that car. Otherwise a barrister could say she parked it there, someone stole it and joy-rode it, etc. Building a case requires being able to counter those alt explanations #TheArchers

The Timpson family run a huge chain of shoe repair shops in the UK. John T (James’s father) adopted 2 children, fostered 90. Timpsons has a long history of rehabilitating ex-offenders by employing them. Those kind of people…

I’m hoping the new government will get back into more restorative/rehabilitative work that was abandoned in mid 00’s because of £. Ultimately it would save £. They have put James Timpson in charge of Prisons, Parole, and Probation and that’s a great early sign… #TheArchers

Yes, I’m not sure prison would be a rehabilitative experience for George Grundy. He’d probably come out covered with prison tattoos, fully hench, and with even more attitude. Possibly even ‘in debt’ to some gangster. But, equally, I don’t want Alice imprisoned for something she didn’t do #TheArchers

Yes. Until Saturday I hadn’t realised the logo was more than a collection of coloured blocks that represent party colours. Seeing it move (which I hadn’t before then because I don’t watch the pre-election nonsense) helped, I think.

Just to be clear, I’m not making excuses for misogyny, racism, etc. just thinking about where this terrifying growth in extreme thinking is coming from (not just UK) and how to counter it. I don’t think we change minds by telling people (not politicians, tell them 😆) how awful they are.
