I’ve been venturing out more to look for them, usually I’m just focused on the stars, so I’ve been taking a closer look at the creatures around. I live in the woods so I see a lot of them!

sounds wonderful. I really miss being close to/in a forest, we're in the desert here but we've given the critters a lot of "wilder" spaces to spend time with around our home and it's really made a difference in feel of the place. I'm glad you have so much available to you.
