And that’s just at the code level. I think a lot about the fact that cosmic radiation can just flip a random bit at any time and make a computer go wonky.

I remember when Sun built SPARC processors with 8GB of non-ECC cache and spent a lot of time dealing with flipped bits making things go wonky. I had one customer where we solved their stated crashing problem by moving it away from the elevator shaft.
