It’s remarkable how many people in 2023-24 still haven’t learned about the Streisand effect. If they’d just let her give her speech, even if there had been a bit of protesting and counter protesting, it barely would’ve made a blip in the news.

They cited her characterization of Israel as a "settler-colonial project" in a social media post. That is the official line of all of liberal-identitarian academia. Are they going to go after the whole UC Ethnic Studies people next? Because that would be logically consistent.
