Is it possible for two Republicans to go to the general election? And if it were Newhouse vs Sessler in November, would the Republicans make a formal endorsement?

Yes, the top two finishers appear on the November ballot, regardless of party. This allows for some oddities, such as two D's in a solid R district (or vice versa). Possible this happens with Public Lands Commissioner - two R's now polling in double digits vs several D's in single digits.
