I have done this for years. My go to’s are: «why are you telling me this?» and «that’s a weird thing to tell a stranger on the internet.» It’s very ok to tell people when they’re overstepping. Some folks deserve to hear it.

People tell me extremely weird super personal stuff in real life immediately upon meeting me, so it wasn't wholly unexpected when it happened online also. (I don't know why this happens, I don't look particularly approachable, since I have RBF. But it always has!)
