Consideration only goes so far! You're also not inconsiderate for asking something, if anything, that in itself IS consideration : ) We're just too damaged by the fucked up social "norms" of social media these days and terrified of doing any 'missteps' even when none are committed.

So thank you for thinking of me! I am humbled and flattered my silly little voice carries that far. And never hesitate to tag me in shark plushies, figurines, games posts etc. But dooming shark movies that further stigmatize the species or aquarium stuff? Please, no thank you : )

I recognize people do it because sharks are my brand and it's a way of connecting or saying "hey, I thought of you when I saw this!" which is a very sweet notion. But it makes me deeply sad and uncomfortable seeing sharks in tanks and it's hard to convey that without sounding like a cunt.

Actually this is a perfect chance to say this (and please, if you've ever done this to me, I don't carry grudges or anything, so please don't feel bad.) I actually do indeed not like to see sharks in captivity. I never enjoy being tagged in it or sent photos of it.

Thanks for asking, I actually do indeed not like to see sharks in captivity. It doesn't sit right with me and I never enjoyed being tagged in it or sent photos of it. But it's hard to convey that when people just do it, without sounding like a cunt. So I really appreciate you asking, Chris : )
