I decided to delete my Tribel account. I set it up back during the early rush to get away from Twitter, but that was before I really knew much about their direct connection with the media grifters behind Occupy Democrats. I was barely using it anyway, so no great loss.

With all of us coming here to Bluesky, we are all essentially hitting a big reset button. Twitter promoted a lot of toxic unhealthy traits in the pursuit for clout thanks to its awful algorithm. Here, those toxic fucks don't have an algorithm to push their bullshit. This is a huge chance for us.

The passing of David McCallum reminded me of a story about a friend of mine who had passed a year ago. They were younger than me, and never grew up on Man from UNCLE reruns, so Ducky on NCIS was their main point of reference for David.

All I can think is, despite everything we do online, how much we spend our lives connected to everyone around us, we too often hide what is really going on within. Depression in the social media age is fear of showing the truth of ourselves while keeping up appearances.

His close friends on CF contacted the local law enforcement for a welfare check, but it was already too late. His family had already been notified. I only knew JM through their art. We had run into each other during Comic Fury Exchanges. JM did a story with Gwenna for the Valentine's Day exchange
