My main objection is that I’m sick of the “let’s replace Biden” talk coming from the Times. Biden has chosen a pretty good slate of officials, from VP Harris to Secretary Haaland, and if he keels over I have no worries about Harris.

But if Biden says okay and steps down, the Times is suddenly going to be very concerned about Kamala the Cop. And the owner already admitted he was pissy about Biden not sitting down for an interview with them; I don’t think he’d declare victory and start calling for Trump to step down.
