It’s seriously stunning how these oligarch wannabes can’t see what living in a country without access to good public education and lots of guns is like. There are several good examples in the world right now. Their fever dream is that they would be the princess in the story not the scullery maid.

The superrich don't really live in the real world. They're like Scifi where they all live in sky cities & never touch the ground where we are. They take their limos to their helicopters to their private jets & go to Davos or a party, rinse repeat. They don't ever see us.
