The North Carolina House overrode the Governor’s veto of the bill to criminalize masks.

There is an exemption but it may be too vague to protect mask-wearers from arrest and illness.

Now the bill will go the Senate where Republicans also have a “supermajority.”

It's not exactly vague in the ratified version, it's "Cops can make you take your mask off and not put it back on no matter what" and "Property owners can make you take your mask off, although they're at least supposed to let you put it back on." It's mostly another excuse to harass Black people
