People talk about a failure of Brexit being that it didn't curtail immigration, but the reality is it has curtailed the immigration of empowered immigrants. The people immigrating now are worried about residency and work permits, making them more vulnerable, and that is by design.

Yeah, we were a bit isolated from it, but we got two manipulative best friends (each in their own way) and it sucks to see M having to deal with it. But also knowing that she has to deal with it, and all we can give her is support, love and tummy farts (still valid @ 8 years old).
