In all meanings of the phrase, the press has decided that Biden cannot win. I don't mean the election. I mean they decide what winning means and there is nothing he can do to win with them.

You're ignoring the reality of the party structure that has lead us to a diminished Biden as the forced leader with objection claims being insulted. It isn't that a demented leader will ostensibly be in control in 2025, but that he'd be a continuation of the anti-populist control within the party.
