Aren't they? They're quoting USD16,000 which is about NZD 33,000 by the time it's delivered on site. Kitset so it needs assembling, but that's everything inc elec and plumbing.

A couple more short rides and I can’t believe the difference a bit of geometry makes. Finding myself riding down on the drops a lot, which doesn’t actually feel like being down at the drops (more like a resting on the bars position), which is weird but welcome. Way more riding options all round.

My Sutra came with drops, but I've never been totally happy with them. Decided to fit the Surly Truckstop bars I'd taken off the Disc Trucker before it was stolen (sigh!). Same width but a bit of rise, cushier tape & an easier drop position. Versatile. More relaxed. Makes me ride faster. Result.
