If you’re looking for some pedagogical encouragement I can recommend cartooning: philosophy and practice by Ivan Brunetti. It validates little stick figures as a perfectly suitable way to draw comics and carries you right past to higher order thinking about storytelling and page rhythm and stuff

For me the biggest problem was the first seasons were plotted by one of the most successful writer/world builders of our age, and the last by showrunners wanting to Give The People What They Want. The last seasons were basically fanfic.

All due respect, I’m not impressed by this factoid. Industrial farming sucks and pollutes horribly, but I look at the source graphic to find mammals in total are a fraction of a fraction of the earths living biomass. Cows don’t seem likely to collapse The Ecosystem.
