I keep wondering if, at some point, long in the future, when the damage has been incalculable, there will be a paltry apology like the one we got for DOMA. When such an apology requires nothing of those who caused so much suffering but a somber photo in a Sunday weekly and 500 words about nothing.

I think the only reason the Republicans are going after Trans People like us is because they went after cis women with Dobbs. Why not fully go after bodily autonomy now that they have the chance?
