an interesting list to see would be all the classic games/puzzles that essentially started as toys: Populous, Choplifter, and Sim City are the first three examples to come to my mind since I teach a class on computer games of the 80s, but I’m sure there’s plenty of non-digital ones as well

There's an ongoing war in our household in my mind, wherein everyone but me is constantly putting toys in our game closet, seemingly not appreciating any distinction… or maybe seeing off-label potential in toys? There's not even room for the games as is, esp w/ my constantly buying more second-hand.
