Hearing from friend after friend about positive Covid tests in past few days. Separate instances in diff cities, mainly Eastern half of US.
Is it just us? Just coincidence? Similar anecdata from others?

I follow Dr. Michael Osterholm’s CIDRAP podcast, comes out every other Thursday. He covers Covid 19 as well as H5N1.

I've been looking forward to a new forecast update on this account, but basically what we're seeing now was expected
Somehow the West is leading this wave, so with the typical timing it would not surprise me if the rest of the country starts to pick up speed now

there was a big uptick on the west coast in late-May/early-June. if you went into the office, you got COVID.

Got off an Alaskan cruise 1 week ago in Vancouver and my husband and I were both symptomatic and COVID positive. Anecdotally via a Facebook group, many others on same cruise were also positive.

Same anecdata here, I seem to know a lot of people on both coasts who've gotten it in the last two months, starting mostly on the west coast. And also my mom just got it a week ago in Germany, and a family friend got it flying back from Italy All over it feels like, but available stats aren't wild
